Manic Street Preachers – International Blue

Classic-sounding Manics, back to their melodious best with the lead single from their upcoming album Resistance Is Futile, out April 2018

Stone Temple Pilots – Meadow

This has been out a couple of weeks. but it passed us by! The shame! A pretty straight-ahead rocker from Stone Temple Pilots, who now feature singer Jeff Gutt.

Sufjan Stevens – Tonya Harding

Not taken from the soundtrack to the new movie about the figure-skater’s life, as the filmmakers rejected the track. Sufjan has released it regardless, and it’s a lovely piece of dream-pop

Roxy Music – Virginia Plain (John Peel Session)

News came through this week that Roxy Music are to release a Super Deluxe Edition of their 1972 debut album, stuffed with previously unreleased tracks, demos, radio sessions and a DVD of video content. This is a spirited version of one of their best tracks, recorded for the BBC in ’72

Reissue Of The Week:
Beastie Boys – Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2

This would prove to be Beastie Boys final album, as Adam Yauch passed away in 2012, a year after its release. Universal have just reissued it on vinyl, which is how it should be heard.
