Feist – Pleasure

Leslie’s first new music in 6 years! The new album Pleasure comes out April 28th through Universal Records.

Kasabian – You’re In Love With A Psycho

Leicester’s favourite musical sons return with the lead single from their new album For Crying Out Loud, which songwriter Serge Pizzorno hopes will resurrect guitar music.  They’ve always had a knack for melody, so we look forward to the album.  Good interview with them in this month’s Q Magazine too

Pond – The Weather

Let’s talk about The Weather.  It’s the latest taster and title track of Pond’s forthcoming album due May 5th, which has been produced by longtime pal Kevin Parker of Tame Impala

New Album of the Week

Depeche Mode – Spirit

“Stripped back, amped up and angry” say The Guardian; “Their best album in twenty years” say Classic Pop; Metacritic.com holds the album at 82% approval. It’s great. It’s what they needed to produce – a Mode LP that can stand proudly alongside Violator, Music For The Masses, and Songs Of Faith And Devotion.  Get it.

Reissue of the Week:

Steve Winwood – Back In The High Life

Reissued this week on vinyl through Universal Music, this is Steve’s 1986 album including “Higher Love” and the masterpiece that is “Back In The High Life Again”.
